Hard Surface Modeling
Hard surface modeling is a technique used for creating 3D models with smooth and solid surfaces. These objects have smooth, specular, paneled designs, rigid structured bodies, and a geometric and often industrial motif. They also have a focus on intricate detail and usually involve at least one axis of symmetry.
Some examples of hard surface models include vehicles, weapons, machines and machinery, robots, buildings and architecture, furniture design, product modeling and anything machine-made or human-made.
